North Star Gems In-home Care, LLC. Is currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants for Full/Part-time, PRN's and Weekend positions.

4/8/10/12 HOUR SHIFTS

Full Time Days/Evening/Nights/Weekends

Part-Time Days/Evening/Nights/Weekends

Full Time Weekends only

Part Time Weekends only

Floaters to cover current employee vacation

Hours can vary and can change based off the client's needs. 

However normal shifts are as follows:

Day shifts are 7am-3pm, Evening shifts are 3pm-11pm and Overnight shifts are 11pm-7am

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily tasks
• Perform basic health care services for clients including checking vital signs and medication reminders
• Help with general light housekeeping, including cooking meals
• Make transportation arrangements or provide transportation for clients as needed
• Collect information about conditions and treatments plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members *Observe and report on each client's condition.
• Remain up to date with home health aide training, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school education/GED or equivalent required
• Must be able to pass a Nationwide criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Experience working as a personal care aide or similar field
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain empathetic to patient needs
• High attention to detail
• Current BLS/CPR card
• Valid driver's license & auto insurance-Driver's license required for all day/evening positions
• Reliable transportation & backup transportation plan
• Social Security Card
• Must be 18 years or older
• Experience supporting Dementia & Alzheimer's is PREFERRED but not required.
